Katherine 'Katie' Roe is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her BA in Sociology from the University of St. Thomas, Saint Paul, Minnesota. Prior to attending law school, she earned her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Notre Dame de Namur, Belmont, CA. Ms. Roe received her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento where she was granted Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in the Health Law and Elder Law Clinic courses.
While the Clinical Fellow at McGeorge she received the Cohn Sisters’ Scholarship for Patient Advocacy.
Ms. Roe has extensive administrative hearing experience representing clients before the Social Security Administration, Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, Center for Medicare Services and Department of Housing and Urban Development. Her practice is now exclusive to Social Security Disability law.
Prior to starting her own firm in 2017, Ms. Roe was an associate at Fraulob - Brown where she managed the firm's Social Security practice and represented clients in Social Security Disability appeals and Workers’ Compensation cases.
